The John Perry Laboratory (JPL) is RPC's Calibration
Laboratory
JPL specialises in calibrating dosemeters and kVp meters (invasive and
non-invasive) that are used in the field of diagnostic radiology. JPL has
been in operation since 1994 and is also certificated to ISO 9001:2008.
In 2009 JPL became the first laboratory of its kind in the UK to gain
accreditation to ISO 17025:2005 "General requirements for the Competence of
calibration and testing laboratories". In the UK, this is generally
known as having UKAS accreditation. This accreditation shows that JPL
carries out instrument calibrations to the stated accuracy and that these
calibrations are fully traceable to primary national standards. Click on the
UKAS logo, on the left, to see JPL's scope of accreditation. Also you
